What are the types and functions of common reduction motors? Different types of reduction motors should be selected according to the needs of the reduction motor. Different types of reducers can be allocated and divided according to the different characteristics of the reducers. Common reduction motors include worm gear reduction motors, planetary reduction motors, and harmonic reducers.

1. Types of commonly used reduction motors

(1) The harmonic transmission of the harmonic reducer uses the controllable elastic deformation of flexible components to transmit motion and power. It is small in size and has high precision. However, the disadvantage is that the life of the flexspline is limited, it is not resistant to impact, and its rigidity is not as good as that of metal. Parts are poor. The input speed should not be too high.

(2) The advantages of planetary reduction motors are relatively compact structure, small return clearance, high precision, long service life, and large rated output torque. But the price is slightly more expensive.

(3) The main feature of the worm gear reduction motor is that it has a reverse self-locking function and can have a large reduction ratio. The input shaft and output shaft are not on the same axis or in the same plane. However, the volume is generally larger, the transmission efficiency is not high, and the precision is not high.

2. The function of reduction motor

(1) The speed simultaneously reduces the inertia of the load, and the reduction in inertia is the square of the reduction ratio. It can be seen that general motors have inertia values.

(2) Reduce the speed and increase the output torque. The torque output ratio is multiplied by the motor output multiplied by the reduction ratio, but be careful not to exceed the rated torque of the reduction motor.

3. Types of reduction motors

General reduction motors include helical gear reduction motors, including parallel axis helical gear reduction motors, worm gear reduction motors, bevel gear reduction motors, etc., planetary gear reduction motors, cycloid pinwheel reduction motors, worm gear reduction motors, and planetary friction type mechanical gearless motors. Boxes etc.

Reduced motors are generally used in transmission equipment with low speed and high torque. Electric motors, internal combustion engines or other high-speed running power achieve the purpose of deceleration by meshing the gear with a small number of teeth on the input shaft of the reduction motor and the large gear on the output shaft. The reduction motor will also have several pairs of gears with the same principle to achieve the ideal reduction effect. The ratio of the number of teeth of the large and small gears is the transmission ratio.
