Disc planetary reducers are widely used in precision processing machine tools, aerospace industry, semiconductor equipment, printing machinery, food packaging, automation industry, industrial robots, medical inspection, precision instruments and automated high-precision electromechanical products industries.


The rated input speed of the disc planetary reducer can reach 18,000 rpm (related to the size of the reducer itself, the larger the reducer, the smaller the rated input speed). The output torque of planetary reducer generally does not exceed 2000Nm, and the special ultra-large torque planetary reducer can reach more than 10000Nm. The operating temperature is generally around -25 ℃ to 100 ℃. It can be seen that the internal environment of the disk planetary reducer is very harsh during normal operation. High-speed friction, high temperature, high pressure, carbon deposits, sludge, and contact between worn metal particles and metal or plastic surfaces are all factors that affect the life of the reducer. Grease exists to solve or alleviate these problems.


Selecting the correct grease can establish a reliable oil film on the contact surfaces of relatively moving parts, effectively preventing mutual wear between parts; in addition, the flow of grease can also help dissipate the heat inside the disc planetary reducer , thereby lowering the temperature. Grease is essential for the protection of planetary reducers. The correct selection of suitable grease and grease can greatly improve the service life and overall performance of the gearbox.
