Geared motor tips

1. After 200 to 300 hours of operation, the oil should be changed for the first time. In future use, the quality of the oil should be checked regularly, and oil mixed with impurities or deterioration should be replaced in a timely manner. Generally speaking, for geared motors that work continuously for a long time, new oil should be replaced after 5,000 hours of operation or once a year. Reduced motors that have not been used for a long time should also be replaced with new oil before restarting. The reduction motor should be filled with the same oil as the original brand, and should not be mixed with oil of different brands. Mixing of oils of the same grade but different viscosities is allowed.

2. When changing the oil, wait for the reduction motor to cool down until there is no danger of burning, but it is still necessary to keep it warm, because after complete cooling, the viscosity of the oil will increase, making it difficult to drain the oil. Note: Cut off the power supply to the transmission device to prevent accidental startup.

3. During work, when the oil temperature exceeds 80°C or the oil pool temperature exceeds 100°C, and abnormal noise occurs, stop using it, check the cause, and eliminate the fault. After replacing the lubricating oil, operation can continue.

4. Users should have reasonable rules and regulations for use and maintenance, and carefully record the operation of the reduction motor and problems found during inspection. The above regulations must be strictly implemented.
