1. Accuracy
There are two types here, one is angular transmission accuracy, which is marked in the manual of the reduction motor, and affects the positioning accuracy of the robot; the other is repeated positioning accuracy, which is not included in the manual of the reduction motor, and affects the positioning accuracy of the robot. What is robot repeatability. Generally, reduction motor manufacturers have professional angular transmission accuracy equipment, but customers can also design some simple methods to measure. Repeat positioning accuracy is the same.
For new reduction motors, many reduction motor manufacturers are good, but the problem is consistency and stability. It's possible that most manufacturers achieve accuracy initially, but after a few months, the accuracy either jumps up or down, or gets worse. The same goes for repeat positioning accuracy. It is no problem to achieve high repeat positioning accuracy in a short period of time, but it is difficult to maintain it for a long time.
2. Calories
This is relatively intuitive, but something that few people pay attention to. In fact, the calorific value is also related to the accuracy mentioned above. The accuracy of the reduction motor depends on the meshing degree of the gears. If the meshing gap is too large, the accuracy of the reduction motor will become worse. If the micro-interference method is used, the accuracy will be improved, but it will lead to the problem of excessive heat generation. It is also a harmonic reducer, but the heating levels of different brands are much different. Not to mention, in harmonics, there is a manufacturer that can have both high accuracy and less heat.
Of course, heat is not just gear related, but also grease and assembly related. The quality of the grease and assembly capabilities will have a significant impact. There are many detailed processes here, which depend on the technical capabilities of each geared motor manufacturer.
