The main parameters and characteristics of stepper motors:
1. Step error: It refers to the difference between the actual measured step angle and the theoretical step angle when no load is applied. It illustrates the accuracy of the angular displacement of the stepper motor. The general error is ±10'~±30 Within the range, stepper motors with higher precision can reach ±2'~±5'.
2. Maximum static torque: refers to the maximum external torque that the stepper motor can withstand when it is in a static state, that is, the maximum electromagnetic torque that can be output. It illustrates the braking capacity and load capacity of the stepper motor.
3. Starting torque-frequency characteristics: refers to the corresponding relationship between the maximum starting frequency and load torque that the stepper motor can accept without losing step when there is an external load torque.
4. Starting inertia frequency characteristics: refers to the relationship between the starting frequency and the moment of inertia when the stepper motor drives a pure inertia load.
5. Working torque-frequency characteristics: refers to the relationship between the output torque and the input pulse frequency when the stepper motor is running. When selecting a stepper motor, the operating point corresponding to the actual operating frequency and load torque should be under the operating torque frequency characteristics to ensure that the stepper motor operates normally without losing step.
6. Maximum phase voltage and maximum phase current: refer to the maximum power supply voltage and maximum current through each phase winding of the stepper motor respectively.
