1. The function of reduction motor
The reduction motor is a power transmission mechanism that uses a gear speed regulator to reduce the number of revolutions of the motor to the required number of revolutions and obtain larger torque.
2. Working principle of reduction motor
Reduced motors are generally used in transmission equipment with low speed and high torque. Electric motors, internal combustion engines or other high-speed running power achieve the purpose of deceleration by meshing the gear with a small number of teeth on the input shaft of the reduction motor and the large gear on the output shaft. The reduction motor will also have several pairs of gears with the same principle to achieve the ideal reduction effect. The ratio of the number of teeth of the large and small gears is the transmission ratio.
3. The difference between reduction motors
Compared with frequency converters, reducers reduce the motor through mechanical transmission.
Different types of reduction motors regulate speed, and the frequency converter achieves the purpose of motor speed regulation by changing the frequency of alternating current. Energy saving can be achieved by reducing the motor speed through the frequency converter.
The difference between worm and worm gear motors is not very big. Both consist of a turbine and a worm. However, the worm gear motor is relatively rough and does not have the high precision of the worm gear motor. The torque of the worm gear reducer motor is larger than that of the worm with the same specification. The main aluminum alloy of the worm gear reducer motor is more, but the worm gear reducer motor only has cast iron. The bigger difference is that worm gear motors are cheaper than worm gear motors.
4. Different types of reduction motors have different uses
The reduction motor is a relatively precise machine, its purpose is to reduce the speed and increase the torque. There are many types of reduction motors. According to the transmission mode, they can be divided into planetary gear reduction motors and worm gear reduction motors. According to the number of transmission stages, it can be divided into single-stage and multi-stage reduction motors. According to the gear shape, it can be divided into cylindrical gear reduction motors, bevel gear reduction motors and conical-cylindrical gear reduction motors; according to the transmission mode, it can be divided into unfolded, split and coaxial reduction motors.
