1. Common gear tooth failure forms of reducers include: gear tooth fracture and tooth surface damage. Gear fractures usually occur at the tooth root because the bending stress at the tooth root is the largest and there is stress concentration. Tooth surface damage can be divided into fatigue pitting, abrasive wear, gluing and plastic deformation.
2. Measures to prevent gear tooth failure include: increasing the requirements for tooth surface hardness and surface roughness; selecting high-viscosity lubricants; providing sufficient lubricating oil and keeping the lubricating oil clean; avoiding frequent starts and severe overloads and impacts; improving assembly quality and strengthen maintenance management.
There will be many parts similar to reducer gear tooth failure, so we need to take effective preventive measures, that is, careful inspection every day. During daily inspections, attention should be paid to early detection of faults and timely resolution so as not to adversely affect the operation of the equipment.
