Common troubleshooting methods for linear reduction motors
Fault 1: (1) Due to low temperature or other reasons, the fluidity of the lubricating oil inside the linear reduction motor becomes poor, and the instantaneous current of the motor increases significantly, causing the driver overload protection, which can be solved by restarting several times.
(2) The internal gear of the linear reduction motor is worn and needs to be disassembled and cleaned or replaced.
Fault 2: The internal planetary carrier of the linear reduction motor is displaced, and the internal gear friction produces iron chips, which needs to be replaced.
Fault 3: The bearing at the output end is displaced, deformed or worn. It is necessary to replace the bearing by disassembling the machine and check whether the internal gear is worn or cracked.
Fault 4: This situation is relatively common and is mostly caused by excessive lubricating oil. This situation will not occur until the excess lubricating oil is consumed.
Fault 5: (1) If the linear reduction motor is overloaded for a long time, the output shaft will be partially broken due to fatigue. According to the requirements specified by the manufacturer, the occurrence of such accidents can be minimized.
(2) The output shaft is unevenly stressed, the radial load exceeds the rated range, or it works under the rated maximum strength for a long time.
