Servo motors are widely used in various control systems. They can convert input voltage signals into mechanical output on the motor shaft and drag controlled components to achieve control purposes.

Servo motors are divided into DC and AC. The earliest servo motors were general-purpose DC motors. When the control accuracy is not high, DC motors are generally used as servo motors. From a structural point of view, the DC servo motor is a low-power DC motor. Its excitation mostly adopts armature control and magnetic field control, but armature control is usually used.

1. Stepper motor

Stepper motors are mainly used in the field of CNC machine tool manufacturing. Because stepper motors do not require A/D conversion and can directly convert digital pulse signals into angular displacement, they have always been considered the most ideal CNC machine tool actuator.

In addition to their applications in CNC machine tools, stepper motors can also be used in other machinery, such as motors in automatic feeders, as motors in universal floppy disk drives, and in printers and plotters.

2. Torque motor

Torque motors have the characteristics of low speed and large torque. Generally, AC torque motors are often used in the textile industry, and their working principles and structures are the same as single-phase asynchronous motors.

3. Switched reluctance motor

The switched reluctance motor is a new type of speed regulating motor with extremely simple and sturdy structure, low cost and excellent speed regulating performance. It is a strong competitor of traditional control motors and has strong market potential.

4. Brushless DC motor

The brushless DC motor has good mechanical properties and linear adjustment characteristics, wide speed range, long life, easy maintenance, low noise, and does not have a series of problems caused by brushes, so this kind of motor is used in the control system. Great application.

5. DC motor

DC motors have the advantages of good speed regulation performance, easy starting, and the ability to start with heavy loads. Therefore, DC motors are still widely used, especially after the emergence of thyristor DC power supplies.

6. Asynchronous motor

Asynchronous motors have simple structure, convenient manufacturing, use and maintenance, reliable operation and low cost. Asynchronous motors are widely used in driving machine tools, water pumps, blowers, compressors, lifting equipment, mining machinery, light industrial machinery, agricultural and sideline product processing machinery and most other industrial and agricultural production machinery, as well as household appliances and medical equipment. Widely used in household appliances such as fans, refrigerators, air conditioners, vacuum cleaners, etc.

7. Synchronous motor

Synchronous motors are mainly used in large machinery such as blowers, water pumps, ball mills, compressors, rolling mills and small and micro instruments or as control components. Among them, three-phase synchronous motor is its main body. In addition, it can be used as a capacitor to deliver inductive or capacitive reactive power to the grid.
